Five things to check

What you pay for the whole clinic
Some products charge per clinic, others per doctor or per staff seat. Add up the yearly cost with your receptionist and any visiting doctor, and ask whether GST is extra.

Fees on patient payments
If the software takes payments for you, it may keep a percentage. If you take cash or UPI yourself, you may not need that.

How long you are tied in
Check whether the price needs a 1-year or longer term, and whether there is a free trial without a card.

A real day in your clinic
Try booking a walk-in, writing a prescription and making a bill on the phone or computer you already use. Time it.

Getting your data out
Ask how you can export your patient list and visits if you ever move to something else.
